Stay Connected: Activities for Girls & Women of All Ages
Arborlea Study Center offers programs and activities that empower women to live life with a deep sense of purpose and joy and to faithfully use their talents and gifts in the middle of the world. The programs sponsored by Arborlea are inspired by the thought and work of Saint Josemaría Escrivá , founder of Opus Dei, and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Activities include recollections, retreats, classes, workshops, seminars, and leadership programs for middle school, high school, and college students, for young professionals, and for married women.

Girls' Clubs (K - 6th Grades)
Girls' Clubs seek to help girls learn how to do the ordinary tasks of each day extraordinarily well, thereby making their work more meaningful and transforming it into service for others.
Meetings
Each club is a place where girls learn how to grow in virtue and make lasting friendships. The younger girls often read books to learn about particular virtues. Older girls hear talks and act out skits or brainstorm together about how to live a particular virtue in different situations. Afterwards, the girls form a simple, practical resolution to live during the month, such as making their bed in the morning, waking up on time, or doing chores without being asked. Activities vary by club but can include arts and crafts, cooking, home arts, service projects, and cultural excursions. These monthly meetings are a wonderful chance for the girls to have fun with their friends, and through the years, build stronger and deeper friendships.

Women
Whether working outside or in the home, taking care of the family and a home is a beautiful profession and the greatest service one can provide to society and the building up of civilization. Our activities reflect this truth and help women to find fulfillment and joy in carrying out the duties of daily life.
