Camp counselors and staff are carefully selected for their qualities as role models and their proven leadership skills and identification with the mission, goals and ideals of Camp Cedar Sage. Our counselors are college and high school young women who have demonstrated leadership qualities. They are dedicated to the personal growth and welfare of each camper.

Camp Cedar Sage hosts counselor-training seminars before camp. These include sessions on the goals of the camp, leadership training, preparing the camper virtue talks, planning camp activities, and first aid training.  ​Additionally, throughout the year counselors attend activities geared to help them in their personal growth as leaders and mentors for the girls.
